Streets filled with 4000 Anti-Gay Uganda Protesters
Over 4000 protesters took to the streets protesting in favor of the Anti-Gay Bill. Ugandan government officials have backed off supporting this bill due to pressure from foreign investors.
I was discussing this subject with a few friends, and we weren’t quite sure if the average Ugandan citizen cared about the Anti-Gay Bill. I think this video makes it clear that their is strong domestic backing for the bill. Though it is questionable if these people are really against homosexuality. Perhaps frustration with foreign influences has popularized protesting for the Anti-Gay Bill. The people protesting probably care more about national independence, but instead protesting gay people because they are easy to pick on.

Thor, I’ll just say it, because nobody else will, and it sounds entirely wrong (because it is).
