Don’t Screw it up Cali! Proposition 8

So lets see whats hap­pen­ing on the west coast. Any beach­ing of Lagu­nas or such? Oh why would you look at this Propo­si­tion 8 is chal­leng­ing the gay folk and their rights to marriage.

So the whole gay mar­riage debate has come down to Propo­si­tion 8 which would amend California’s Con­sti­tu­tion to include the following.

“only mar­riage between a man and a woman is valid or rec­og­nized in California,”

Well I do say that doesn’t sound like rain­bows and uni­corns to me now does it. Well any­way I was just brows­ing the LA times to see how the bat­tle was going and I came across this niffty lit­tle map that dis­plays the money rasied by both sides in and out of state. So it looks like the homo hators have a bit of an edge. Any­way it is up to you and me and all the limp­wristed, dancy prancy,  bike rid­ing, tofu eat­ing, gay and les­bians to save the day. How can you do that? Spread the word that you should par­tic­i­pate in democ­racy or you shall be killed aka vote or die. You could also mozy on down to this web­site and help them out I sup­pose. Or you could just blog about how stu­pid anti gay mar­riage peo­ple are no need to be polit­i­cally cor­rect. Are you won­der­ing who wants to destroy Gay peo­ples civil rights? Well Protectmarriage.com of course. With their end­less array of creepy fam­ily pic­tures on the site they seem quite formidable.
