The French elec­tronic group, M83, called upon its fan base to pro­duce a music video for their sin­gle. We Own the Sky

I love the col­or­ing and the whole motion of the video espe­cially in the fist few scenes. Though the video is scream­ing indie. The peo­ple depicted are dressed in indie typ­i­cal clothes doing over the top indie things. Yet still the music video works despite the mass amount of “indi­eness”. What I got from it visu­ally was that we shouldn’t be afraid of new things and that we should tackle them head on rather than fear­ing them. It is inspir­ing in a way makes me want a nice cam­era and a field to lay in.
