iamamiwhoami disturbing mystery

The youtube account iamami­whoami has cre­ated a viral guess­ing game among the musi­cal blo­gos­phere. Two visu­ally stun­ning, and shock­ing teaser trailer clips were uploaded, but the clips have not been claimed by any musi­cal artist. The sus­pected artists include Christina Aguil­era, Gold­frapp, The Knife, Ladytron and Lady Gaga. Regard­less of who it is many peo­ple includ­ing myself are very inter­ested in fol­low­ing this viral mar­ket­ing mystery.

The videos are a bit dis­turb­ing, and I sug­gest if you are eat­ing some­thing fin­ish it before continuing

My ver­dict on the whole ques­tion of who is fea­tured is as followed.

The music is defi­antly reflec­tive of what Gold­frapp has pro­duced in the past. Also the whole liv­ing nature ele­ment has been vis­ited in sev­eral Gold­frapp videos. The col­or­ing of one of the videos is sim­i­lar to Gold­frapp and Ladytron. Also Gold­frapp album is com­ing out in March.

So pretty much I think it is a very creepy ver­sion of Gold­frapp. Now I sup­pose it’s time to ask who you think is behind the videos.
