Dr. Dre is ruining the Music Industry!
Well maybe it isn’t Dr. Dre, but instead its his headphone. “Beats by Dr. Dre” are these magic headphones Dr. Dre created endorses and these little glomping large gizmos are destroying the little credibility mainstream music has left. Simply these headphones have taken product placement to the next level.
Shall we begin?

In Eminem’s music video for “We Made You”. The girl portraying Lindsy Lohan’s girlfriend has a pair around her neck. Better put them on a no longer relevant rapper is yelling at you.

Oh I forgot Dr. Dre and the no longer relevant rapper are best bros with each other so of course Dr. Dre will show in the video. I dare say whats that keeping his ears warm? Earmuffs? Oh wait! Its a pair “Beats by Dr. Dre” headphones. Which can be bought for a mere $300.
My audience is usually of the gay sort and the gay sort has never really cared for the no longer relevant rapper sort (Eminem). So which person is relevant to the gay community…Que in every Lady GaGa video…EVER

Love Game the mini cheap ones oh well.

Alright lets take a commercial break.
Ha, see what I did there? Even when pimping another product he has time to pimp his very own “Beats by Dr. Dre” headphones he even let the nerdy white guy wear them for a second. All of this done with time to drink a cool glass of Dr. Pepper.
So back to the music video. Here is some generic rap video with generic rap people and Lady Ga Ga and a certain lucky dog who was able to afford “Beats by Dr. Dre headphones.

Okay this is getting unbearable. I think you get the point…Wait…hold your horses there is another group of scantly clad ladies who are willing to drill the point once more. Just a note the following is a music video, not a commercial. I think.
Paradiso Girls featuring Lil Jon and Eve — Patron Tequila
After watching that video you now have memories of the headphones embed in your head right next to your useless childhood ones. So pretty much the entire premise of the video is. Guy buys “Beats by Dr. Dre” headphones from Bestbuys. Guy gets random assortment of ladies because he bought “Beats by Dr. Dre” headphones from Bestbuys. That is a commercial. Have we reached the culmination of this trend? Will this nonsense stop? No.
Whats that underneath that generic rapper’s hood? Could it be!
It’s one Giant Commerical

Thor, you have stumbled up the end of mainstream music, or the beginning. Playing endorsements into music videos, even the song, is a great way to get music videos back on MTV at regular hours of the day. But the videos will be crap song commercials, so I would rather watch Parental Control for the 1000th time and hope the guy takes the girl on a water related date so he an take off his shirt and show off his tight bod. I’m such a perv.
Why are childhood memories useless? Damn you, Thor! Prove your statement true!

Dr. Dre made the tightest beats that the hip hop industry has ever heard. Even today his classics are still on the radio worldwide and his influence to the marijuana community still lingers around. But those expensive ass headphones aint no better that a pair of 50 dollar Sony Headphones. Stick to makin music Dre. For real, cuz the hip hop game went pop after he left.
