Just saw Bruno will be doing a video review of the film a bit later. I saw this video Bruno Movie Quoting Taskforce and thought it was extremely relevant, and was a great idea. Though the actual video is kind of mediocre, it is a fair warning of the incoming Bruno Quote storm. Use movie quoting sparingly.

If you are not quite partial to watching videos then I will graciously supply you with a nice little summary.

I spent the first week of my summer in western Maryland for a Mission Trip. It was overall okay. It was quite nice to get away for a bit. I had to endure a week without my Ipod and to make it worse there was a constant unending barrage of country noise. I had a “deep” moment when I had the device in my clutches once again. I engaged in dance spree of instantly.

When I got back I was featured on the front page of my local newspaper. The article detailed the times during Stonewall vs. present day.

Finally the website Digg allowed its users to submit questions to Bruno and one of mine got picked. It happens about 10:10 into the interview.

Well maybe it isn’t Dr. Dre, but instead its his headphone. “Beats by Dr. Dre” are these magic headphones Dr. Dre created endorses and these little glomping large gizmos are destroying the little credibility mainstream music has left. Simply these headphones have taken product placement to the next level.

In Eminem’s music video for “We Made You“. The girl portraying Lindsy Lohan’s girlfriend has a pair around her neck. Better put them on a no longer relevant rapper is yelling at you.

Oh I forgot Dr. Dre and the no longer relevant rapper are best bros with each other so of course Dr. Dre will show in the video. I dare say whats that keeping his ears warm? Earmuffs? Oh wait! Its a pair “Beats by Dr. Dre” headphones. Which can be bought for a mere $300.

My audience is usually of the gay sort and the gay sort has never really cared for the no longer relevant rapper sort (Eminem). So which person is relevant to the gay community…Que in every Lady GaGa video…EVER

Ha, see what I did there? Even when pimping another product he has time to pimp his very own “Beats by Dr. Dre” headphones he even let the nerdy white guy wear them for a second. All of this done with time to drink a cool glass of Dr. Pepper.

So back to the music video. Here is some generic rap video with generic rap people and Lady Ga Ga and a certain lucky dog who was able to afford “Beats by Dr. Dre headphones.

Okay this is getting unbearable. I think you get the point…Wait…hold your horses there is another group of scantly clad ladies who are willing to drill the point once more. Just a note the following is a music video, not a commercial. I think.

After watching that video you now have memories of the headphones embed in your head right next to your useless childhood ones.  So pretty much the entire premise of the video is. Guy buys “Beats by Dr. Dre” headphones from Bestbuys. Guy gets random assortment of ladies because he bought “Beats by Dr. Dre” headphones from Bestbuys. That is a commercial. Have we reached the culmination of this trend? Will this nonsense stop? No.

Whats that underneath that generic rapper’s hood? Could it be!

It’s one Giant Commerical

I love my yearbook quote with a passion. At first I used it because it was came from Britney Spears or one of her publicists and anything from Britney Spears is just plain ridiculous. Then this megar quote became so much more. It was a way for me to meaurse the people around me. Is this fag serious! or Oh Eric look at you making fun of the typical gay guy stereotype. Though the more I thought about the quote the more it became me. I don’t like defining myself, at all. I don’t like being sterotyped or catagorized to fit someones social schema. I’m just am a entiy that can not be crammed into any single section just like everyone else. So Britney I’m sorry for exploiting your(?) quote and for pretending to be a fanatical fan of yours. At least my last line of highschool wasn’t some generic emerson quote that can apply to pretty much anyone.

My issue with Adam Lambert and how gay celebrities feel compelled to come out on magazines. I’m not really hating on him in particular, I am just opposed to the trend in general.And like in a sense that my opinion

One commenter noted the following which I thought was quite valid.

In all fairness to Adam, we do not know all the stipulations put forth by American Idol. I know they work SO HARD during the competition and they have all agreed to certain rules and regs. It would not surprise me one bit if the producers had addressed this with Adam from the beginning.

I do remember reading on some gossip blog(cringe I know) that his own mom couldn’t comment on his personal life because of some contract with Idol.
