I don't see this quote (from the same AP story, Oct 10) in most of the Frank-bashing gay press: "Call or write your representative or senator, and then have your friends call and write their representative or senator," Frank said. "That's what the NRA does. That's what the AARP does." Frank has been out since 1987 (i know, who cares): there's a been a lot of marches and protests since then, but not much law. The NRA and AARP - they do ok. Frank is hopelessly blunt, and he doesn't give a damn about Frank-bashing. Yeah I like him, and yeah he's a dinosaur. He's just grown old and tired of flag-waving and the status quo. I think he honestly does want to see progress in actual federal law before he retires. He just counts votes. Thanks for listening.
