One of the countless reasons why you should be reading this blog is because I am pretty good at spotting trends and the next big thing. Did I mention i’m also really modest? Anyway you probably are now aware of the newest pop sensation Lady Ga Ga and her debut album “The Fame”. Well if you read my blog back in May this whole Ga Ga thing would be old news to you.
Back in late May I posted about Miss. Ga Ga and her first music video Just Dance I stated that it was a solid single and I still stand by that. The rest of the album is “bleh blah whatever”. I have to admit it she is not a good musician, but quite the performer. In other words i’m not going to buy the album or really listen to the music, but I will love her music videos. Shes more of an icon than a musician.
Forget about that whole whole trivial Georgia thing. The main issue with Russia today is the emo/goth infestation. The stance set by some government officials though is quite shocking. Banning the Emo look? Kind of oppressive. Well we can at least we have gotten away from the Stalinist times in which Emo hunts occurred every Friday. Oh these voice over people! My goodness they are epic we need them over here in the states.

There is a lot of talk on who is going to be the next President of the United States. Only that whoever it is needs to have the ability to bring the people together. In my personal opinion, Obama is the person to do just that.
For anyone that did not watch Democratic National Convention. They had to move the acceptance session into Mile High Stadium. Because of the reaction that people had to Obama. I read that so many people tuned in to see him speak that they could not even rate it. That compared to when John Kerry ran in the last election. Only 20,000 people were present at his acceptance. I liked John Kerry fine, but honestly he did not have the appeal needed for president. That is my opinion on why the election was so close. There were so many people in doubt of both candidates the vote was practically split down the middle.
Anyway, there is a lot at stake this election. Now I know there are a lot of you on here who cannot vote. But this is still important because this is history in the making. The first Black Male has become an official candidate for President on the United States. Several year’s ago, I would not think that was possible.
There is going to be a lot of people undecided who will vote for McCain. Or will not vote at all. Honestly, McCain started out as a good hopeful for president 4 years ago. But I believe he has changed his ways to coincide with the power to be that wants the county to stay at its current economic state. The Republican method does not work. History has shown this, if anyone reads their charter it is not geared towards people but towards corporations.
One reason they can sway so many people is because the Republican Party usually plays the pro-life card. Now, I’m for life. But I’m also for people to have the ability to make their own decisions. If a life wasn’t meant to be, it wasn’t meant to be. For whatever the reason, that’s why the court decision was made. It is un-constitutional to restrict Women from doing what they want with their body. So why do they keep pushing pro-life? A decision has been made 30 years ago. Let’s move on please. Aside from that, the Republican’s will tell you anything you want to hear regarding anything that will get to you to vote for them. They will also say your vote is needed to keep the morals of this country in order. One such long-term conservative goal is protecting the insurance companies from Gay Marriage and forcing religious beliefs upon children which have nothing to do with a legal bond between two people.
To sum things up, honestly I’m sick of every election time some conservative comes along with an obnoxious notion that does not concern the good of the nation. Where do people get these ideas? Has our county become so out of whack that people who are poor and have prices going up and up everyday really support these a-holes? I for one am not going to and I hope after reading this it will be a small example to anyone who is truly unsure over why this nation should be changed for the future.

Well lets see what is their to say about this band? Goose is a Electo Rock Band hailing from the tiny country of Belgium. You may have herd their most popular song “Bring it on” in one of those countless car commercials. You probably were like “Shoot I wish I knew the name of that song”. Well thankfully unlike millions of other lost souls you have me. Goose Rocks quite the nice myspace profile and color scheme. Though much more importantly their music is some of my favorite. The profile host a small collection of their own greatest works and remixes. All are quite amazing for any electo/eletronica enthusiasts. They haven’t released any album of their own recently so I would stay tuned to see what they are up to.
Let me be straight(for once) with you. I’m no fan of the Golden arches and that yellow and red clown. I also detest the food that is served out of this particular establishment, in fact I haven’t been to this place in years. Commonly known as McDonald’s as recently been facing a bout of trouble with the American Family Association. According to the AFA McDonald’s needs to endure a nationwide boycott due to that McDonald’s had joined as a partner with National Gay and Lesbian Chamber of Commerce. The Association’s President Tim Wildmon stated.
“We’re saying that there are people who support AFA who don’t appreciate their dollars from the hamburgers they bought being put into an organization that’s going to fight against the values they believe in,”
That is Tim’s justification of why thousands of conservative family’s need gather arms and fight the gay agenda’s pawn McDonald’s! Yes this seems quite ridiculous, but in reality the power held by the AFA and other Christan/conservative organizations are still quite strong. For example Walmart faced a similar situation and eventually they pulled out. Further more recently Ford faced the AFA and gave in as well when Ford ceased to support Gay and Lesbian groups with monetary donations. So no matter how insane or how insignificant the claim is thousands of mindless AFA followers are willing not only to listen, but to boycott and to even protest publicly.
These people of the AFA believe there is a “culture war” going on and that they must vanquish groups who are looking to get basic civil rights for GLBT.
“AFA rejects this ‘everybody’s doing it’ excuse …. and is asking the fast food company to remain neutral in these controversial skirmishes of the culture war.”
Responses like that are quite frightening to me. Also these delusional people who are willing “soldiers” in this “culture war” scare me as well. Even though they are quite laughable they are still quite loud by trying to impose there lifestyle by wiping out others.
This whole controversy got me really thinking when I read this article on World Net Daily. Basically McDonald’s claims that the people who are boycotting are participating in hate. While the AFA and boycotters say they are protesting due to religious reasons. For me at least, It is no longer justifiable to protest homosexuality on sole grounds of Christianity. Why? Because the same being used now against Gay Marriage was the same BS used to justify slavery, segregation and to deny women the right to vote. Most Americans part of the mainstream world have realized this already. Though there are still groups of people who obtain all there morals from a hundred’s of year old book that advocates slavery, killing of children and other barbaric things. Those same groups of people are the ones who are protesting McDonald’s. On the topic of McDonald’s and gay people being attacked watch this video this women is so real love her!
Michael Savage believes that the Homosexual Mafia peeps are raping children minds. I loled. Though I was kind of appalled when he made insults towards. Del Martin, 87, center left, and Phyllis Lyon, 84 the first couple to be married in California. Really that is harsh their “like” grandmas and is really low class and disrespectful. Phyl
Pretty much summer is here for me. I don’t really love the hot weather would much rather prefer colder weather, but oh well. I have a job pretty much working at this kids camps. Though I have been contemplating about applying to American Apparel store that is opening up in my local area. Further this summer I no longer really care about getting a nice tan as long as I gain a few pounds I will be thoroughly happy. Still do not have a boyfriend, but I can deal with it even though pretty much everyone I know has one.
They made a giant stone thingy as seen here. I don’t really understand how that can cost 600,000 euros, but still it looks pretty niftty. Inside the little box is a video of two guys kissing so ya it be funny to see some unsuspecting person look through the hole and be all surprised.
