All the crazy social conservanuts are shitting themselves right now. Why? Just hours ago Connecticut has secured its place as the third state to legalize Gay Marriage. The Story goes some of us gay folk were ticked we sued the Connecticut court voted 4-3 in favor of allowing same sex marriage. What do I think of this?
Gay Marriage in Connecticut came at a critical time. Currently the far socially backwards right has been mounting attacks on Gay Marriage via their sponsorship of Califonia’sProposition 8. In particular a group called The Knights of Columbus contributed over $1 Million to the Yes on Prop 8 Campaign in hopes of preventing Gay Marriage from taking hold in Cali. The ironic thing is that The Knights of Columbus is stationed in Connecticut. So as you can see all these conservative groups are being stretched thin monetarily. With the Knights pumping all that money into Cali I wonder if they will have any left over to fight the Gays in their own state.
